Caregiver Requirements
- 2 years experience caregiving
- REQUIRED: Maryland Driver’s License (not provisional or learners permit)
- REQUIRED: Reliable personal transportation with valid auto insurance in your name
- Proof of eligibility to work in the US
- CPR certificate You can get this during the hiring process.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Ability to successfully pass a Reference Check, Background Check and Motor Vehicle Check, and a pre-employment Drug Screen.
- Ability to read, speak and write in English. Additional languages are a plus.
- Willing to work with clients with cats or dogs or clients that smoke.
- Personal Care Assistance with hygiene needs including bathing and toileting
- Memory Care
- Assisting with daily living including meal preparation, light cleaning
- Friendly and compassionate communications
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Take clients to medical appointments and on errands.
- Companionship and conversation
- Ability to set a consistent schedule when you are available
- Assignments to specific clients in their homes so you get to know them
