No experience? No problem. We’ll train you in our Caregiver Training Center and give you the skills you need to succeed. Already experienced? We’ll help you grow into advanced caregiver roles like Alzheimer’s and dementia support.

A Day in the Life of a Home Instead Caregiver:

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Prepare simple meals and help with light housekeeping
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and mobility
• Offer medication reminders
• Provide transportation to appointments or errands
• Support seniors living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
• Most importantly: make every day brighter for someone who needs you

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• A caring heart and patience — experience is a plus, not a requirement
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to pass a background check, DMV check, and drug screen
• Social security card or government-issued ID
• Willingness to complete a paid 2-day orientation & training in Mansfield Center, CT
