Home Instead Senior Care, located in Merrick, New York is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.
PLEASE NOTE: TUESDAY & FRIDAY ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT DAYS TO BE AVAILABLE
Do YOU Qualify:
- 1-year Experience in Home Healthcare
- Ability to work independently
- Valid New York State RN License
- Display knowledge of and ability to follow NYS DOH regulations for Home Health Care.
- You are familiar with New York LHCSA procedures.
- Develop a personalized plan of care for all clients.
- Make periodic nursing assessments to review and revise the plan of care as necessary.
Registered Nurse Position Qualifications:
- At least 3 year’s experience in nursing
- At least 1-year Experience in Home Healthcare
- Ability to work independently
- Valid New York State RN or LPN License
Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities:
- Complete an initial home health assessment of client to determine home care needs.
- Conduct PCA Training Course and Conduct Orientations
- Conduct home visits as assigned, assessing the patient's condition, progress toward goals, providing patient care.
- Initiates the plan of care and makes necessary revisions as patient status and needs change.
