Caregiver (Non-Medical Home Care)
Location: Home Instead – Crystal Lake, Illinois
Pay: $16.00–$20.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
As a Home Instead Care Professional, you’ll provide compassionate, non-medical in-home care that helps seniors maintain their independence while improving their quality of life.
Responsibilities may include:
- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Preparing meals and encouraging proper nutrition
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Transportation to appointments, errands, and community activities
- Alzheimer’s and Dementia care with patience and compassion
- Observing changes in clients and communicating with the care team
- Creating a safe, comfortable, and positive environment while treating every client with dignity, kindness, and respect
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for dependable, compassionate individuals who have a heart for serving others.
Qualifications include:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, patient, and compassionate attitude
- Ability to work independently while following a personalized care plan
- Previous caregiving, home care, CNA, DSP, HHA, personal care, hospitality, customer service, childcare, or healthcare experience is a plus—but not required. We provide paid training for the right candidates.
