Caregiver- Full-Time

Home Instead of Rockland County, NY is seeking a dedicated In Home Caregiver to support our clients in the comfort of their own homes. If you're dependable, kind-hearted, and committed to providing excellent care, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide medication reminders

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry

• Plan and prepare meals

• Offer companionship and emotional support

• Provide transportation and run errands

• Monitor client safety and report any concerns to the care team

Qualifications:

• Previous caregiving experience

• CNA, HHA, or PCA certification a plus (not required)

• Ability to pass background and reference checks

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Patience, empathy, and a strong work ethic

Requirements to be a caregiver:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect

• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

• Minimum age of 21

• Background Check, DMV check, and drug screen

• Hourly Caregivers need to possess a valid driver license and a reliable car to transport clients.

Our office is located in West Nyack, NY ; but your assignment could be anywhere in Rockland County.
