- In Home CAREGiver Responsibilities Include:
Companionship Care
- Conversation and socialization
- Standby Assistance
- Preparing Meals
- Providing medication reminders
- Accompanying clients to appointments
- Performing light housekeeping
Personal Care
- Assisting with bathing, grooming and toileting
- Incontinence Care
Specialized Services which could include
- Hospice Care
- Alzheimer's/Dementia Care
- Bedbound Clients
- Non-Ambulatory Clients
Transportation & Errand Support (Essential Function):
Caregivers are required to safely transport clients to appointments, activities, and errands as directed in the client’s care plan. Caregivers must also be prepared to assist with unpredictable transportation needs such as grocery shopping, pharmacy pickups, and other essential errands that arise during scheduled shifts.
Because client transportation and errand support are integral to the services we provide, caregivers must be able to perform driving-related duties when assigned.
This position requires the ability to perform all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, consistent with applicable state and federal law.
Requirements
- Demonstrate compassion, reliability and trustworthiness
- Proactive individual that is a self-starter
- Ability to communicate with clients in a positive and friendly manner
- Registered Home Care Aide (HCA). If you are not registered, we can assist you with the process
- Negative TB test (within the last 90 days), criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Valid Driver's license and car insurance.
