Your growth matters to us. To help you build specialized skills, we proudly sponsor the nationally recognized Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) credentialing course at no cost to you.
Already a licensed CHHA? You become eligible for this company-sponsored course immediately after successfully completing your probationary period.
Not yet licensed? Once we help you earn your HHA certification and license, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. After successfully completing this introductory period, you'll become eligible for the Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) course.

Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
Perform light housekeeping and laundry
Provide medication reminders and support client safety and well-being
Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia
Provide companionship and emotional support
Document care provided and communicate effectively with office staff
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Recent physical, TB test, and MMR vaccination records required
Ability to travel to client homes within Essex & Union Counties
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to working at least 30 hours per week
Comfortable working around pets
Authorized to work in the United States
CHHA applicants must meet all NJ Board of Nursing licensing requirements
