Your growth matters to us. To help you build specialized skills, we proudly sponsor the nationally recognized Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) credentialing course at no cost to you.

Already a licensed CHHA? You become eligible for this company-sponsored course immediately after successfully completing your probationary period.

Not yet licensed? Once we help you earn your HHA certification and license, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. After successfully completing this introductory period, you'll become eligible for the Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) course.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support

• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry

• Provide medication reminders and support client safety and well-being

• Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Document care provided and communicate effectively with office staff

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Recent physical, TB test, and MMR vaccination records required

• Ability to travel to client homes within Essex & Union Counties

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Commitment to working at least 30 hours per week

• Comfortable working around pets

• Authorized to work in the United States

• CHHA applicants must meet all NJ Board of Nursing licensing requirements
