What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Health Care Aide position at Home Instead East Polk County?
We are looking to hire compassionate, and loving people to help make a difference in the lives of our seniors who need your help! We will train you to provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, caring, and compassion.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship and Conversation
- Meal preparation and light cleaning tasks
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
- Provide transportation for client
- Alzheimer’s Care

Job Requirements:
- Pass a criminal background check, DMV check, AHCA level 2 background screen and drug screen
- Must have a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must have your own reliable transportation
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Valid CPR certificate preferred
- Have the ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Have the ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- 2 Weekends per month are required!
