Caregivers Needed – Hampton Bays
Home Instead, Hampton Bays is looking for AWESOME Individuals to provide compassion and a caring attitude toward enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our Long Island Community. Our clients and our CARE Professionals are critical to the success of our organization. That’s why we choose the very best CARE Pros to support our mission.
Specifically looking to fill two days a week, days of the week are flexible: 7am – 9pm. Must be able to cook for him, provide interesting conversation and go out to dinner with him.
Hourly rate for this position is $22.00.
Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion, while enhancing the lives of our CARE Pros by creating a passion with a purpose, not just a job.
We provide paid skills training necessary for the role, you bring the empathy and understanding, and we will teach you the skills. These may include:
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Transportation and shopping
- Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia Care
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
Please note that you will be required to:
- Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
Hourly rate for this position is $22.00.
Range of Compensation for this position is $19.65 - $22.00 hourly.
