Role Overview:
As a Skilled Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our supervisory team to ensure each individual receives the support they need to live safely and comfortably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Assist with meal preparation and nutrition planning to meet clients’ dietary needs.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life.
- Execute light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure tailored care plans are followed and adjusted as needed.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Certification as a Personal Care Aide (PCA) or similar credential.
- Proven experience in providing in-home care services.
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Compassionate and dependable with a commitment to excellence in care.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Bonus If You:
- Have experience working with senior populations or individuals with disabilities.
- Possess additional certifications in first aid or CPR.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Full-Time, available Monday through Friday.
Location:
This position is on-site in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and open to candidates in the surrounding areas.
