Role Overview:

As a Caregiver - Overnight at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and families to ensure clients receive the best possible care. You will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence while ensuring safety and comfort during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in conversation and recreational activities.
• Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry.
• Monitor clients’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Help clients with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring they feel safe and secure.

Qualifications:

You’re a great fit if you have the following skills.

• Experience in caregiving or a related field, with a passion for helping others.
• Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Ability to handle physical tasks associated with caregiving, including lifting and mobility assistance.
• Dependability and flexibility in scheduling for overnight shifts.
• A caring attitude, with a commitment to treating clients with respect and dignity.

Bonus If You:

• Have a certification in First Aid or CPR.
• Possess specialized training in caring for clients with dementia or similar conditions.
• Have prior experience in a home care or healthcare environment.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as both Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability required on Saturdays and Sundays.
