Responsibilities:
- Meal preparation and clean up
- Med Reminders
- Assist with personal care tasks, including showering and dressing
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Assist with transfers for mobility impaired clients
- Ability and willingness to do things the way the client would like them done!
Experience:
- Previous experience working with the elderly or special needs individuals, is preferred
- Knowledge of client rights and safety protocol
- Familiarity with meal preparation
- Experience with giving personal care assistance and doing transfers
- First aid
-High school education or equivalent.
Note: This position does not require CNA certification. However, experience or training in caregiving or healthcare is required.
As a Caregiver for Home Helpers, you will be instrumental in providing compassionate support and assistance to veterans in their daily lives. Your core skills in caregiving will be complemented by premium skills such as meal preparation, patient observation, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). You will ensure a safe and nurturing environment, focusing on senior care and enhancing the quality of life for those you serve. Positions available for immediate start! Pay range $20 to $25/hour. Pay rate based on client type and weekday or weekend shift.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Experience:
- Transfer with gait belt: 1 year (Preferred)
- Dementia care: 1 year (Preferred)
- Caregiving/personal care/Bath aide: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CNA (Preferred)
- Driver's license AND a car with valid insuranse. (Required)
