Home Helpers is currently seeking an experienced caregiver to provide medication reminders and light housekeeping. Candidates must have dementia experience, be comfortable around dogs, and be willing to drive the client for errands.

Primary Responsibilities
Assist with total care, including bathing, toileting, and grooming
Prepare meals with special dietary needs and assist with light housekeeping
Provide medication reminders
Offer companionship and emotional support
Transport client for errands as needed
Help organize the schedule
Communicate clearly and professionally with family members and care team
Accurately document daily activities and observations
Perform additional caregiving duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of professional caregiving experience
CNA certified or highly experienced
Bedbound/non-ambulatory experience
Hoyer lift and suction experience
Able to bear weight
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
Dependable, punctual, and reliable
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
Ability to pass a 50-state background check and drug screening
Work Environment
Care is provided in the client’s private home. This position requires physical activity, including standing, walking, and assisting with personal care.
