Home Helpers of the River Region is hiring experienced caregivers with advanced care skills to support clients in Wetumpka and nearby communities.
This role is best suited for caregivers who are confident providing hands-on care for higher-acuity clients, including safe transfers, catheter care, and advanced personal care needs.
We are looking for dependable caregivers who can provide consistent daytime support and are available to start shifts as early as 7:00 AM, including every other weekend.

- Providing advanced personal care assistance
- Supporting clients with safe transfers and mobility
- Assisting with catheter care and other specialized needs
- Helping clients maintain daily routines and independence
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Monitoring safety and comfort throughout the day
- Building strong, respectful relationships with clients and families
- This role focuses on one-on-one care in a client’s home, allowing you to provide meaningful support and individualized attention.
Requirements include:
- 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- Comfortable performing transfers and catheter care
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a background screening
- Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented
