Home Helpers Home Care – Part-Time Standby Caregiver (Paid Training Daily Stipend Hourly Pay)

We have an immediate opening for Part-Time Standby Caregivers at Home Helpers Home Care!

This is a unique opportunity to earn a daily stipend just for being available!

In this role, you’ll be on call during designated hours, and if you’re matched with a client, you’ll receive an hourly wage in addition to your daily stipend.

Standby Hours:

• Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–10:00 PM

OR

• Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 AM–10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Be available and prepared to assist clients during your on-call shift
• Help clients live safely and independently at home
• Assist with daily tasks like meal prep, light housekeeping, hygiene, transfers, errands, and companionship
• Monitor clients for safety or health concerns and communicate with the care team

What You Need to Succeed:

• Strong work ethic and reliability
• A kind, patient, and compassionate attitude
• Willingness to learn through paid training
• Ability to assist with physical tasks (e.g., rolling in bed, transferring)
• Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll train you!

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Able to pass a comprehensive 40-year background check and drug test (including APS and CPS screening)
• Dependable and able to work independently
