Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare and cook healthy meals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor health changes and report them
- Help with mobility and transportation
- Ensure timely medication intake
- Keep accurate care records in line with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
- Experience in home health care, assisted living, or nursing homes
- Knowledge of caregiving for developmental disabilities or dementia
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks
- Cooking skills for dietary needs
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
