We are currently building a team of professional caregivers available for longer shifts, including 8–12 hour daytime shifts and overnight care.
These roles are ideal for caregivers who prefer consistent hours with one client rather than multiple short shifts.
Job Overview
We are seeking dependable caregivers to support private clients in Santa Ana, Tustin, Costa Mesa, Irvine, and surrounding areas.
Many of our clients require extended daytime or overnight supervision, particularly those with mobility challenges or memory-related conditions.
If you prefer steady shifts and predictable schedules, this role may be a good fit.
Must have valid CA driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle. Driving clients to appointments and errands is required.
This role is best suited for caregivers who are confident working independently in a one-on-one setting and comfortable supporting individuals with mobility challenges and memory loss.
We prioritize caregivers who value reliability, professionalism, and building trust with families.
Typical Shift Types
Many of our clients require extended care shifts, including:
- 8am – 5pm
- 8am – 8pm
- 7am – 7pm
- 8pm – 8am (overnight)
- 24-hour care teams (split shifts)
Availability for longer shifts or overnight care is highly valued.
What You'll Do
- Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
- Provide mobility and transfer support
- Supervise and support individuals with dementia or memory challenges
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care
- Provide medication reminders (self-administered only)
- Maintain clear communication with families and the care team
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Experience with mobility assistance or transfers preferred
- Dementia care experience strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Registered HCA (or willing to register)
- TB clearance required prior to assignment
- Ability to work independently in a private home setting
