Job Summary:
Home Helpers Home Care Of Waldorf, MD is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Professional to join our team of experienced caregivers. As a Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, personalized care to seniors and individuals in their homes, allowing them to maintain their independence and comfort.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with medication management, including administration and monitoring
Prepare meals and handle household chores, such as laundry and cleaning
Light house duties
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
Collaborate with other care professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services
Stay up-to-date with changing client needs and adjust care plans accordingly
Requirements:
5 years of experience in the caregiving field
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Must be able to work Mon - Thur 1pm - 5pm and Fri and Sat 10am - 5pm
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
