Job Overview
As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of support. This position involves providing compassionate care and assistance to clients in various settings, including nursing homes, group homes, and private residences. You will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of those you care for while promoting their independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being.
• Assist with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans and changes in condition.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as social work or home community care is preferred.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving.
• Basic cooking skills to prepare meals that meet client needs.
• Familiarity with working in nursing home or group home settings is advantageous.
• Must be reliable, patient, and possess a strong desire to help others.
