We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver for Personal Care to provide exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities and personal well-being. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor patients’ health by taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature; report any concerns promptly
• Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking as required
• Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning tasks to promote hygiene and comfort
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to safely assist with heavy lifting or transfers
• Observe patients closely for changes in condition or behavior; document observations accurately for care plans and team communication
• Support patients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s disease or dementia through memory care techniques and patient engagement strategies
• Follow all safety protocols including CPR certification procedures and emergency response plans during incidents or health crises
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to ensure comprehensive patient support in home health or hospice settings

Skills

• Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments
• Strong knowledge of patient observation, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and care planning
• Certifications such as First Aid, CPR, HIPAA compliance training preferred but not required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is valued
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or cognitive impairments like Alzheimer’s or dementia care
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physical stamina for long shifts involving mobility assistance
• Excellent communication skills for working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Compassionate attitude combined with patience and resilience to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Familiarity with home health procedures including social work coordination and hospice care practices

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
