What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN-1 Year experience needed position at HOME HEALTH?
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens
- Document patient care services by charting in electronic medical records (EMR) system
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Adhere to nursing standards and protocols
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
- Proficient in occupational health, including knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation processes
- Experience with ICD-10 coding and documentation standards
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, such as Athenahealth
- Ability to perform venipuncture and other basic medical procedures
- Knowledge of family planning services and reproductive health education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient needs
