We are looking for a dependable Clerical Office Assistant to support our busy office operations and help ensure smooth communication with our patients, staff, and medical partners.
Position Overview
This role involves a high volume of faxing, phone communication, document editing, and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and comfortable speaking professionally with doctors’ offices, hospitals, and referral partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Make and receive a high volume of phone calls
- Communicate clearly and professionally with doctors’ offices, hospitals, and patients
- Fax, scan, upload, and organize large amounts of documents
- Edit and prepare documents using Adobe and Microsoft Office
- Create folders, packets, and patient forms
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Assist intake, HR, and nursing departments with clerical tasks
- Prepare letters, reports, and other office materials
- Manage office supplies and maintain an orderly workspace
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat (editing, combining, preparing forms, etc.)
- Strong phone communication skills; comfortable making frequent calls
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced office setting
- Reliable, professional, and able to work well with a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or home health (preferred but not required)
- Bilingual highly beneficial
