We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes. This position will start as an on-call role, with the opportunity for additional and more consistent hours as client needs and available assignments increase.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed.
- Provide medication reminders as directed.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Respect each client's privacy, dignity, independence, and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Home Health Aide certification or required state-approved training, is preferred but not required.
- Previous caregiving experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, reliable, patient, and professional.
- Ability to safely assist clients with daily living activities and mobility.
- Reliable transportation may be required.
Schedule and Hours
This position will begin on an on-call/as-needed basis. As the client base and care needs grow, additional hours and more regular scheduling may become available. Flexibility and availability to accept assignments are preferred.
Employment Type
On-call/part-time to start, with the potential for increased hours based on availability and client needs.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
