Job Summary:
The Vendor Management Specialist is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing productive relationships with alliance vendors operating on the TPT (Touchpoint Technology) platform, specifically those integrated with PIC. This role acts as a liaison between vendors, internal cross-functional teams, and technology partners, ensuring smooth onboarding, catalog management, and ongoing collaboration that supports business goals and continuous improvement in vendor operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Vendor Relationship & Data Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with Alliance Vendors using PIC and Touchpoint for product configuration and ordering.
Serve as the primary contact for vendors, leading regular (monthly/bi-monthly) meetings to address technical issues, discuss catalog changes, and preview new products
Oversee the RFA (Request for Approval) process including evaluation and approval of product changes, pricing, and discontinuations in collaboration with internal stakeholders and PIC.
Proactively prepare and distribute vendor communications regarding updates, promotions, and catalog changes.
Manage and review vendor data catalog changes, collaborating with internal teams (Product Management, PIC, IT) to qualify and approve changes, new product submissions, discontinuations, and price updates.
Coordinate weekly reviews of top sales to identify vendor-related follow-ups.
Review and ensure the accuracy of all vendor documentation.
Vendor Onboarding, Pilot, and Go Live Support
Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new and beta vendors, working with relevant stakeholders for introductions, initial meetings, system setups, and contract initiation.
Coordinate technical integrations and contract approvals with internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee beta phases: manage weekly meetings, support Product Managers and vendors in technical troubleshooting and Salesforce case management, and provide sales reporting during pilotsTrack onboarding status and performance through weekly updates and reporting.
Manage vendor account activations, handle scripts/processes in TPT (transitioning to automation with PIC), and participate in post-go-live support, providing weekly check-ins for 60 days.
Catalog and System Support
Manage and test catalog changes in coordination with vendors and PIC; approve additions, deletions, and pricing updates.
Troubleshoot technical issues related to TPT catalog management; file and manage support tickets via Salesforce and Jira.
Test catalog changes and product updates, validate fixes, and document all changes affecting vendor listings.
Support PIC/TPT system collaboration through bi-weekly technical meetings.
Play an active role in the E-PIC Implementation Project Team, including testing of freight calculations and building/validating products for non-integrated alliance vendors.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Product Managers and Vendor Alliance teams on vendor qualification, configuration consistency, and standardization initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Contract Management, IT) to resolve issues, align processes, and improve vendor onboarding experiences.
Prepare sales performance reports during onboarding and beta phases, ensuring they are distributed to relevant leadership and updated weekly.
Required Skills / Abilities:
Experience working with external vendors and cross-functional technical teams.
Familiarity with ERP or product configuration systems
Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving business needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication as well as the ability to build strong relationships.
Experience in onboarding and supporting technology integrations with external partners is a plus.
Preferred Skills / Abilities:
Experience with Salesforce, Jira, or similar ticketing/project management tools.
Knowledge of window coverings or home improvement products industry.
Previous experience with vendor data governance.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field is preferred, and
3+ years of relevant experience in vendor management, product data management, or technology-enabled procurement/supply chain roles, or
Combination of education and experience
A very strong preference will be given to candidates with experience in window coverings

The pay range for this position is $80,000 - 100,000. Actual pay will be determined by factors including candidate experience and qualifications, education and work location.
