Mortgage Loan Processor

Home Financing Center is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to join our team in Coral Gables, FL.

We're looking for someone with 5 years of mortgage processing experience, preferably in a retail mortgage environment, who can confidently manage loans from application through closing. The ideal candidate has significant experience with Non-QM loan products, including bank statement, DSCR, P&L, asset qualifier, and foreign national loans.

Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Collect and organize borrower documentation
• Submit and manage files through underwriting
• Review and clear underwriting conditions
• Order and review credit, appraisal, title, and other required documentation
• Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, real estate agents, and third-party vendors
• Track loan progress and ensure timely closings
• Identify and resolve issues proactively

Qualifications

• 5 years of mortgage loan processing experience required
• Retail mortgage lending experience preferred
• Extensive experience with Non-QM loans, including: Bank Statement DSCR, P&R, Asset Qualifier, and Foreign National.
• Strong knowledge of Conventional, FHA, and VA guidelines
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously
