Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Manage laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing sheets and making beds
- Provide floor care services such as carpet vacuuming and maintenance of hard surface floors
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to the highest standards of sanitation
- Address client requests with professionalism and courtesy, fostering positive relationships
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any needs for replenishment
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning equipment and chemicals
Skills
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and cleaning techniques
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
- Experience in cooking is a plus, enhancing the overall service provided to clients
- Familiarity with janitorial or commercial cleaning practices is beneficial
- Previous hotel or housekeeping management experience is an asset
- Competence in floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning and maintenance
