Summer is almost here and we are beginning our search for the new faces of the Home City Ice team for the new 2023 season. This job is one of the ultimate jobs for college students trying to make as much income as possible before heading back to school in the fall. This job is a physical labor job and will require a strong work ethic but is something hundreds of college students have done and succeeded at in the past. We do not require a CDL but we will help you obtain one if interested (makes the job a whole lot easier).

This job is perfect for the average college student for a few couple of reason,

During training all our employees can expect to start at $16 per hour, once out of training you will then move to $16 per with an 84% commission rate. This is where our raises will come from as the higher you rate goes the more you make off of each individual invoice. So you pay structure will now take form as this is the equation we use to generate you income for each invoice you do. For an example $200 x .8 x .1 (commission ring, starts at 9% and goes up every 15 air miles you drive from the shop) = $16. An average driver completes a $200 invoice every 30-45 minutes ensuring those who are working harder than other are making more because that’s how we feel it should. An average driver has a daily take home of roughly $200. You will also see bonuses for daily goes, a weekly goal and some other miscellaneous objectives as well. This job is not for everyone but for those who have a good work ethic and come in with the goal to make as much money as they possibly can, then there will not be any other job on the market for college students that can offer what we can.

What to expect and requirements for this job:

· Average work day ranges between 9-12 hours per day depending on how fast you finish your route.

· Average income to be around $200 per day (CDL driver average between $21-$25 per hour, where Non-CDL will make $18-$22 per hour)

· We do work weekends, most employees will work either Saturday or Sunday

· All employees are required to work summer holidays as those are our busiest days.

· Operating a Home City Ice delivery truck and following all DOT guidelines.

· Will need to obtain either a Chauffer’s or CDL license, we will pay for CDL training and tests.

· You will be given a drug test before training and will be subject to random tests.

· We do also have a college tuition program in place for those to apply before April 1st.

· Must be 18 years are older to apply
