Job Description
The Office Assistant is directly responsible for reporting to the Warehouse Manager. They will assist in keeping a smooth working environment for the manager and delivery drivers. This is a part-time position. Expected hours are Mon-Fri 10 am to 3 pm.
Responsibilities
- Ensures all admission criteria are met with patients coming on service
- Assist in scheduling deliveries and pick-up of equipment
- Create delivery tickets
- Coordinate schedules between hospice companies, facilities, and delivery drivers
- Answers phones in a professional and courteous manner
- Perform miscellaneous office, clerical, and organizational tasks as needed. This includes assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of warehouse equipment.
- Assist customers with private purchases and rental of DME equipment
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 years in an office setting
- 1 years customer service
- Highly developed customer service and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills including the ability to type a minimum of 25 WPM
