Mobile Medical Group is seeking a new Nurse Practitioner.
Great full time position working with the geriatric population in patient homes and facilities. No nights or weekends. Evaluation and management of new residents. Be part of a team where you are appreciated and making a real difference for patients! Requires clear communication skills and willingness to learn and practice a team approach to patient care.
Job duties include but not limited to:
- Provide for general health needs of patients including health promotion, maintenance and restoration. Initiate health promotion and disease prevention strategies that are customized to individual’s needs.
- Perform accurate comprehensive health history, review of systems and physical examination, concluding with diagnosis and treatment.
- Order, perform and interpret diagnostic procedures and tests for acute and common primary care conditions.
- Coordinate and communicate with ancillary services including living facilities, home health and hospice services
- Home Health Nursing experience is helpful.
Required Qualifications:
-Salt Lake City Nurse Practitioner license and national certification (Family Medicine, Adult Medicine or Geriatrics)
-Active DEA license with prescriptive authority, or ability to obtain
-Proficient in assessment and patient education
-Salt Lake City Driver’s License and Auto Insurance in accordance with the state of Salt Lake City
