JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Medical Biller who is experienced in processing health care claims, submitting and following up on claims, and works well with insurance companies to ensure timely payment. We are looking for a biller who is both efficient and accurate in their work.
Canyon Home Care & Hospice is a fast-paced environment which requires high-energy and a positive attitude. We are looking for someone who is organized and follows through to task completion, who will take initiative to solve challenges and who is always professional with clients and colleagues.
This Medical Biller will report directly to the Billing Manager and will be responsible for the billing of an entire office branch. This position has the potential for meaningful career growth for motivated candidates that are passionate about providing quality health care to our community.
Compensation package includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance and paid time off. The pay rate is base on education and experience level.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate must be a high school graduate.
Candidate must have 1 or more years in Medical Billing
Candidate must be comfortable communicating on the telephone and returning phone calls.
Candidate must aspire to provide the highest quality work product.
Candidate must be self-motivated, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Candidate must have strong oral and written communication; organizational and problem-solving skills.
Candidate must communicate well with colleagues and healthcare personnel and agencies.
Candidate must be detail and goal-oriented individuals.
Candidate must possess a basic understanding of technology including the operation of tablets and computer applications.
Salary : $15 - $22
