Full-Time Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Red Rock Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team! We are a locally owned and operated pharmacy committed to delivering high-quality care to our community. As a compounding technician, you'll be part of a positive and supportive team dedicated to excellence in personalized medicine.
Position Overview:
This role focuses on preparing customized medications for patients in a sterile and non-sterile compounding environment. The ideal candidate has prior compounding experience, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for precision and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare compounded medications accurately and safely following established formulas and guidelines
- Measure and mix ingredients using proper compounding techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and sterility standards in compounding areas
- Label and record dosage information with accuracy and compliance
- Process and manage prescription orders using pharmacy software
- Manage inventory of compounding ingredients and supplies
- Follow state and federal regulations, including USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards
- Communicate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify orders or resolve discrepancies
- Maintain proper documentation and logs for compounding activities
- Support overall pharmacy workflow and maintain a safe, organized environment

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Pharmacy Technician license
- Previous compounding experience preferred (sterile and/or non-sterile)
- Knowledge of compounding regulations and standards
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
