Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, home health, and community environments. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs and overall condition; report any concerns promptly
- Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs, including meal planning and cooking
- Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of living spaces
- Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s
to assist with mobility and transfers safely - Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and organizational policies
Skills
- Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and hospice care practices
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols
- CPR and First Aid certification required; additional certifications like CPR or Hoyer lift training preferred
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility; ability to work flexible hours as needed

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
