Home Care Is Where the Heart Is is a RN-owned home care agency dedicated to helping adults and seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

We are currently seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers to join our growing team. Whether you are an experienced caregiver, CNA, nursing student, medical assistant, retired healthcare professional, or simply someone with a heart for serving others, we want to hear from you.

Essential Responsibilities

Caregivers may assist clients with:

Companion Care

• Meaningful conversation and social engagement
• Playing games and activities
• Reading and companionship
• Accompanying clients on walks
• Providing emotional support
• Encouraging participation in hobbies and interests

Personal Care Assistance

• Bathing assistance
• Grooming assistance
• Dressing assistance
• Toileting assistance
• Incontinence care
• Oral hygiene assistance
• Mobility assistance
• Transfer assistance
• Ambulation support

Homemaker Services

• Light housekeeping
• Laundry and linen changes
• Meal planning and preparation
• Grocery shopping
• Medication reminders
• Organization and household assistance

Transportation Assistance

• Medical appointments
• Grocery shopping
• Community activities
• Personal errands

Observation and Reporting

• Monitor changes in client condition
• Report concerns promptly to agency leadership
• Document services accurately
• Follow individualized care plans
• Maintain client safety and dignity at all times

Preferred Qualifications

One or more of the following:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
• Home Health Aide (HHA)
• Nursing student
• Medical Assistant
• Healthcare experience
• Caregiving experience
• Experience caring for family members
• Customer service experience

New caregivers with the right attitude and commitment to serving others are encouraged to apply.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum age 18 years
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver's license
• Clear Georgia finger-print based criminal background check
• Ability to complete required onboarding and orientation
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and agency staff
• Ability to perform caregiving duties safely and professionally

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift as required
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers when appropriate
• Ability to safely navigate home environments
