We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Healthcare Office Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable working in both administrative and marketing functions within a growing healthcare/home care agency.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Administrative Support
- Assist with day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim submissions, payment status, and follow-ups
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of paperwork
Compliance & Caregiver Oversight
- Monitor and ensure caregivers are compliant with EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) requirements
- Maintain caregiver records and compliance documentation
Marketing & Customer Engagement
- Manage and monitor online social media ads and campaigns
- Respond to inquiries and engage with potential clients/customers
- Assist in growing the company’s online presence
Patient & Provider Coordination
- Work with doctors, case managers, and healthcare professionals to onboard new patients
- Assist with intake and ensure all required documentation is completed
Hiring & Background Checks
- Support hiring processes including coordinating and processing employee background checks
- Assist with onboarding new caregivers
Qualifications
Required:
- Clean background with no criminal record (background check required)
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
Preferred (Not Required):
- 1–2 years of experience in healthcare, home care, or office administration
- Experience with insurance billing, EVV systems, or patient coordination
- Bilingual (Spanish or Arabic) is a plus
