What are the responsibilities and job description for the HomeCare Assistance position at Home Care Assistance?
Home Care Assistance is hiring for a Home Assistant to work in our Lawrence, KS home. This is a great opportunity to work in a private home setting and be part of a friendly team. Primarily later evenings. 4 to 6 hour shift available.
Duties:
- Personal care for a person who uses a wheelchair
- Cleaning, organizing and maintaining the home
- Managing the home's general maintenance needs such as watering, dusting etc.
- Helping with household emergencies when they arise
- Performing other related duties as assigned by management
Skills:
- Experience as a home care assistant not required.
- Ability to be consistent with the schedule
- Good communication skills
- Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
