Compassionate Care Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, emotional support, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in condition.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Document client progress and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Support clients with memory care needs, ensuring they feel secure and understood.
• Follow HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in providing home health or hospice care as needed.
• Assist clients with mobility challenges, ensuring their safety while moving around their home or community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as senior care, home health, or hospice care is preferred.
• Knowledge of memory care techniques and the ability to work with individuals with autism or other disabilities is a plus.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• Ability to maintain professionalism while providing patient care in various settings.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
