What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Needed 9AM-5PM position at Home Care Assistance?
Currently hiring caregivers for Elderly Clients in the Lansdale area. Caregiver is responsible for transfers from bed to wheelchair, personal care, changing pull ups, bathing and dressing, making meals, laundry, and light housekeeping.

Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Assist client with Activities of Daily Living: Personal Care (bathing/grooming); Meal Preparation; Medication Reminders; Laundry/Light Housekeeping.
- Provide transfers and gait assistance, as required
- Client may need to be changed in bed and may need to be turned every 2 hours.
- Work one-on-one with the client, enhancing their quality of life.
- Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds.

We’re looking to hire the best caregivers, who have:
- Minimum 1-year of caregiving experience preferred
- Many clients request COVID-vaccinated caregivers, so vaccination is highly recommended to maximize your availability for shifts.
- Experience caring for clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia, as needed.
- Passionate about caregiving and helping others.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and car insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Current Negative Tuberculosis test or chest x-ray or 2 step PPD test.
- Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
