What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver 9am-1pm position at Home Care Assistance?
Currently hiring caregivers for an Elderly Client in the North Wales / Horsham area. Caregiver is responsible for assisting with personal care, assisting with showers, making lunch, playing games, keeping client occupied, and light housekeeping.

Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Assist client with Activities of Daily Living: Personal Care (bathing/grooming); Meal Preparation; Medication Reminders; Laundry/Light Housekeeping.
- Provide transfers and gait assistance, as required
- Client may need to be changed in bed and may need to be turned every 2 hours.
- Work one-on-one with the client, enhancing their quality of life.
- Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds.

We’re looking to hire the best caregivers, who have:
- Minimum 1-year of caregiving experience preferred
- Many clients request COVID-vaccinated caregivers, so vaccination is highly recommended to maximize your availability for shifts.
- Experience caring for clients with Alzheimer’s/Dementia, as needed.
- Passionate about caregiving and helping others.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and car insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Current Negative Tuberculosis test or chest x-ray or 2 step PPD test.
- Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
