What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver 9a-9p or 9p-9a Swarthmore, PA position at Home Care Assistance?
Looking for caregivers to provide care for a client for 12 hour shifts.
Shifts will start at the end of August.
MALE Client is a wheelchair bound student in need of assistance:
Daily 9am-9pm
and 9pm-9am
He will be living in a Dorm and is in need of personal assistance in showering, dressing, morning routine, doing laundry and any other tasks as needed. A hoyer lift is used for moving from bed to chair.
Caregiver will need to have or obtain fingerprints and obtain a clearance for PA Child Abuse records.

Job Duties:
- Assist client with daily living activities, including transfers, helping with bathing, grooming.
- Client and caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits and preferences.
- May include light housekeeping, running errands, and laundry.

- Past experience as a caregiver, either professionally or with family members.

- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent references from past employers and supervisors.
- Current 2 step PPD, quantiferon gold or chest x-ray (required) or obtained ASAP
