What are the responsibilities and job description for the STR Cleaners Needed position at Home Base?
We're a growing short-term rental management company looking for a dependable, detail-oriented cleaner who takes pride in delivering a true five-star guest experience. We're looking for someone who wants to grow with our company and take ownership of the properties they clean.
Responsibilities
- Professionally clean and prepare short-term rental properties between guest stays.
- Ensure each property is guest-ready and meets five-star cleanliness standards.
- Present each home beautifully by styling pillows, blankets, towels, décor, and other finishing touches to create a warm, welcoming space.
- Monitor inventory and notify our team when supplies need to be replenished.
- Complete cleaning checklists, upload completion photos, and document your work through our cleaning app.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or anything out of the ordinary immediately.
- Take ownership of assigned properties and ensure every turnover is completed on time.
What We're Looking For
- Professional cleaning experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and consistently high cleaning standards.
- An eye for presentation and the ability to make a home feel inviting—not just clean.
- Understands the difference between "clean" and a true five-star guest experience.
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage a schedule.
- Comfortable using a smartphone app to complete jobs and upload photos.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must provide your own professional cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Takes initiative, communicates proactively, and treats each property as if it were their own.
