Airbnb Management - Maintenance Houseman/Ops Support

We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Operations Support (OS) team member to help maintain and support our portfolio of short-term rental properties across the Indianapolis market. This is a highly active, in-the-field role focused on property upkeep, guest support, inspections, small maintenance tasks, and operational runs.

You will work closely with property managers to ensure our homes are guest-ready, well-maintained, and operating smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, driving around the city, fixing things, and taking ownership of their daily work. ** This is a 1099 Position that requires the use of personal vehicle, technology (phone, cpu etc.) & light tools. **

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

• Perform routine property inspections (pre-arrival, post-clean, and monthly)
• Assist with guest situations (lockouts, minor issues, onsite support)
• Run operational errands (purchases, deliveries, supply drops)
• Install items such as small furnishings, smart home devices, décor, and replacement parts

Mid-Level Maintenance Tasks

(These are “one step above basic,” but below licensed contractor level)

• Tighten or repair loose fixtures, handles, knobs, and furniture
• Spot-clean carpets using portable cleaners
• Minor patching, spackling, caulking, and touch-up paint
• Repair/Reset/Replace Electronic Keypads
• Clean and maintain outdoor grills, fire pits, patio areas
• Replace shower heads, hoses, toilet seats, and simple fixtures
• Remove debris, tidy exterior areas, and support basic yard upkeep
• Assist with simple door/hinge adjustments, weatherstripping, and alignment
• Trash and/or debris removal
• Reset or troubleshoot small appliances, routers, thermostats, and smart locks

General Tasks

• Maintain accurate logs of completed work
• Support contractors onsite with access and job oversight
• Communicate effectively with property managers about status, issues, and next steps
• Uphold safety and cleanliness standards across all assigned properties

Qualifications

• Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or field operations preferred
• Ability to use basic hand tools and complete minor repairs
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work independently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, year-round
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be organized, punctual, and able to respond quickly when needed

Pay: $2,750.00 per month
