Home Appétit is a Philadelphia-based meal delivery service, established in 2014, delivering to

Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs, South Jersey and Delaware. It’s not a meal kit and never

frozen; we provide healthy, freshly prepared meals by real chefs with no subscriptions and new

menus each week, hand-delivered to your door. Home Appétit partners with local artisans, chefs and other organizations to give back to our community throughout the year—and we’ve won Best of Philly twice.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Digital and Social Content Creator to own the creation, execution and growth of

our organic content across social and marketing channels. This is a hands-on, creative role for

someone who loves food, storytelling, photography, and building a brand through great visuals and

thoughtful content. You will establish this new position in a fast-growing local company. You’ll concept, shoot, edit, post, and analyze content while working closely with cross-functional

teams and external partners to bring new ideas to life. If you’re energized by a fast-moving startup

THIS ROLE WILL REPORT TO

Brand Marketing Manager

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation Storytelling

• Concept, shoot and edit photos and videos for organic social
• Help concept, shoot and edit photos and videos for email campaigns, paid social ads and the website
• Work directly with leadership to contribute and execute new ideas to grow the brand
• Stay on top of digital trends, themes and platform updates and recommend new formats, ideas and channels
• Assist marketing team on larger brand initiatives like events

Social Media Management

• Create, write, schedule and publish content for Instagram, Facebook and future social platform
• Grow and engage our organic social community across social channels
• Track, analyze, and report on social media KPIs

Creative Asset Production Organization

• Capture weekly on-site product food photos and videos
• Update online menu photos weekly on deadline
• Organize and manage content library and marketing creative assets

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Proven track record of growing social media for brands
• Product/food photography and editing experience
• Strong writing and storytelling skills
• Great with people and strong communication skills
• Love of food, restaurants, hospitality and Philadelphia
• Familiar with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, CapCut, Davinci or similar editing and AI tools
• Psyched about the establishing a role and working in a fast-paced startup setting
• Organized, detailed-oriented, adaptable, and self motivated

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years minimum experience in content, social media or marketing roles
• Experience in food or DTC upscale lifestyle businesses is highly preferred
• Familiarity and understanding of the Philadelphia market is a bonus

JOB DETAILS

• Hybrid position; three days a week in our East Falls HQ to collaborate and shoot content, plus offsite shoots
• Reliable transportation required

SALARY

• $60,000-$70,000, depending on experience
