Job Summary:
As a Pool Service Technician, you’ll be the expert in delivering top-notch pool maintenance and repair services for our residential and commercial clients. Reporting to the Pool Services Service Line Manager, this hands-on role is essential for ensuring every pool is safe, clean, and operating at peak performance. You’ll have a unique opportunity to provide excellent service, build lasting customer relationships, and contribute to an outstanding customer experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keep pools crystal clear and inviting through skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and ensuring water clarity and hygiene.
- Test and adjust pH, chlorine, and other chemical levels to ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming environment.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair essential pool equipment—like pumps, filters, and heaters—to extend equipment life and enhance performance.
- Identify issues such as leaks, cracks, or equipment malfunctions, perform repairs, and recommend the best solutions to keep pools in perfect condition.
- Work closely with the Service Line Manager to refine service quality and efficiency strategies.
- Maintain accurate job records, detailing the work performed, chemicals used, and time spent on each service call.
- Offer clear explanations on pool maintenance and repairs, give care and safety advice, and address any questions or concerns.
- Follow company safety policies, industry standards, and regulations, especially concerning pool chemical handling and storage.
- Engage in continuous training to stay updated on the latest pool service techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in pool maintenance and cleaning
- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repair
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Background as a service technician with relevant experience
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.62 - $23.63 per hour
