Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces regularly.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
- Handle laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Follow established safety protocols and cleaning procedures to promote a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
- Adhere to all health regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee a hygienic setting at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hospitality or similar environments is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care—vacuuming, mopping, polishing—and the use of cleaning equipment.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for delivering exceptional service is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing for long periods, lifting supplies, bending, and reaching.
