Pay and Schedule
- $20.00 an hour
- Full-time, Tuesday-Saturday (40 hours per week)
- 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
- 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM Thursday and Saturday
- Sunday and Monday off
Responsibilities
- The Warehouse Lead oversees the various teams in the warehouse and ensures staff has completed daily tasks while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Ensures that HOM Furniture customers’ needs are correctly communicated to the appropriate departments.
- The Warehouse Lead maintains an organized warehouse including inspecting equipment, maintaining inventory, and placing orders as necessary.
- The Warehouse Lead oversees or assists in the receiving of product, customer pick-ups, inventory control, product inspection, showroom displays, product repair, and the ordering of some product.
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Education: Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED.
Experience: Three to six months of related experience preferred.
Physical Demands: High physical demands can be required. The employee is regularly required to stand for sustained periods of time. The employee can be expected to lift, push, and pull up to 150 pounds individually and up to 300 pounds as a part of a team. Occasionally, The employee will be required to ascend and descend ladders and stairs in a safe manner. May be required to work safely from heights when necessary. The employee must adhere to safe lifting techniques, follow proper training for learned job hazards and ergonomic risk factors, participate in the departmental stretching program, and maintain an overall safe working environment.
Other: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must have leadership skills.
