Facilities and Maintenance Worker
The maintenance and grounds worker is responsible for keeping a property's grounds and buildings in good condition, ensuring they are clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. This role involves a wide range of tasks, from maintaining lawns and landscapes to performing routine repairs and upkeep of buildings.
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
- One (1) year experience in buildings and grounds maintenance required
Skills and Qualifications:
- Skilled in general maintenance, construction, and repairs of facilities and grounds equipment
- Commitment to ensuring that buildings and grounds are maintained to the highest safety and sanitary standards
- Ability to understand and carry out simple oral and written directions
- Willingness to perform custodial and other manual tasks
- Thoroughness and dependability in completing tasks and work orders
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Ability and willingness to work as a team member
- Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 119, Section 51A you are a mandated reporter and held to the statutory reporting requirements.
Starting Pay: $20.28 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
