The Teller | Member Services Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Holyoke, MA. In this role, you will assist members with various financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account inquiries. You will provide exceptional customer service, ensure accurate and secure handling of funds, and educate members on the credit union’s products and services. Additional responsibilities include maintaining records, assisting with account openings, resolving member concerns, and supporting team operations.
- Customer service and communication skills, with a strong focus on providing a positive member experience.
- Cash handling, transaction processing, and basic accounting skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to assist members and address inquiries effectively.
- Familiarity with financial products, banking practices, and related compliance standards is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with using office equipment and basic computer applications; experience with banking software is advantageous.
