What are the responsibilities and job description for the EXTENDED DAY SITE DIRECTOR position at Holy Trinity?
Holy Trinity: An Episcopal School is looking for an Assistant Director of Extended Day for our Primary School. This position works closely with the Director of Auxiliary Programs to facilitate a safe and engaging afterschool program for Grades 5 to 8.
This is a part time position, 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, or until the last child has been picked up, Monday – Friday on school days only.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma required. College credit, Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate Classes or Degree a plus.
Experience: Demonstrated experience working with/ teaching students grades 1st-4th grade. Child Care or Youth Camp experience a plus.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Problem solving skills, capable of dealing with multiple tasks while maintaining composure.
A positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be resourceful.
Ability to work independently without constant supervision and manage divisional Extended Day Staff.
Understanding of students’ needs and an ability to handle conflicts according to school procedures.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilitate after school programming for Grades 5-8
Ensure that rules and safety protocols are being followed.
Daily supervision Middle School Extended Day staff
Manage daily attendance of staff using the electronic time clock and student using the attendance sheets.
