While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, and feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; talk and hear; engage in moderately strenuous physical activity both indoors and out. The employee may occasionally lift or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The ability to become CPR, AED, and First Aid Certified is required.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions and may frequently walk on slippery or uneven surfaces. The noise level in the work environment is often loud.

Preffered Qualifications
Knowledge of age-appropriate activities, stages/needs of child development, and ability to follow safety practices and procedures. Ability to operate standard office machines and equipment, communicate effectively in oral and written form, effectively operate a computer and use appropriate application software, understand and follow oral and written directions, deal effectively warmly, and professionally with students, parents, school employees, and the general public.

- Maintains professionalism in punctuality, dress, speech, and manner
- Communicates and deal effectively with all members of the school community and community at large

- Performs all duties as requested by the Division Heads
- Maintains a pattern of prompt and regular attendance
- Monitors students in preschool classroom during lunch time and rest time so teachers can have their lunch (12:00 - 1:30 pm)
- Substitute for ECH teachers
- Works with ECH students individually and in small groups
- Helps prepare activities/crafts for ECH classrooms
- Makes copies for ECH teachers
- Helps with afternoon duties (recess, carline) in Early Childhood
- Performs all duties as requested
- Maintains expertise in assigned areas
- Participates successfully in professional learning opportunities available to increase skill and proficiency related to assignment
- Participates successfully in computer training to attain and/or maintain skills necessary to achieve proficiency of performance responsibilities
- Demonstrates a positive attitude toward work assignment
- Serves as a role model who supports colleagues, mission, vision, and core values of the school

- Additional training/experience in computer applications desired
- Required to maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
