What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lymphedema Therapist position at Holy Redeemer Health System?
SUMMARY OF JOB:
Provides evaluation and interventions to help individuals with a diagnosis of lymphedema maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and functioning, enabling optimal performance and enhancing health, well being and quality of life across the lifespan. Supports the Rehabilitation Manager in her duties. Acts as a resource and mentor to staff members and demonstrates expertise and advanced skills in lymphedema practice.

To perpetuate the mission of the hospital through the provision of efficient health services directed toward maximizing patient function and independence in a caring and compassionate manner.
RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
1. Provides documentation of completion of a Bachelor/Master/Doctorate post graduate program from an accredited program for physical therapy or occupational therapy or completion of an Associate degree program from an accredited program for physical therapy assistant or certified occupational therapy assistant.
2. Possess a PA state license in good standing and meets State statutory regulations
3. Ability to effectively communicate and present self to people in a courteous, tactful, poised and professional manner.
4. Has a minimum of 1 year of practice in lymphedema specialty
5. Holds a CLT certification from an accredited school and will have or within 6 months of hire a LANA certification.
